Recent Session

Just wanted to share a few images from one of my recent sessions! I had the pleasure to photograph this adorable family last Wednesday. Both kids were so full of life! The oldest seemed as though he'd been used to having his photo taken and the youngest just wanted to do his "own" thing (which is IDEAL for me!) Just going through the photos has me giggling :)

What to wear???

THIS is one of the main questions that I get from clients. "What should we wear?" My suggestion is to always go all out and dress how you want your family portrayed, you know, the way you dress regularly (but there's no harm in going on a photo shoot shopping spree considering it's in your budget!) Whatever your families style is, is how you should present yourselves for your session.

This question got me thinking. It would be helpful to help clients pull together looks ahead of time by pointing them in the right direction based on their style. I'll be posting plenty of style sheets here to assist you.

While surfing Zara's website, I pulled together a few pieces that I am calling "Country Bumpkin". PERFECT for the daughter that loves a classic urban + country style!

Recent maternity session

I recently had the pleasure of photographing one of my very best friends to celebrate her pregnancy!

Coincidentally when I was pregnant with my son, she got pregnant with her daughter a few months later. And go figure, she's pregnant with # 3 and a few months later I pop up pregnant! We're going to have to stop drinking each other's water when we're pregnant!

She has always been drop dead gorgeous and now she's simply glowing :) I'm happy to have captured this special moment for her.
